1. Who we are
This website is run by Sambandhah, a counseling centre at Anushri Accolade - II, 713, Science City Rd, opp. Shell Petrol Pump, near Science City, Sola, Ahmedabad, Gujarat 380060. When this page says “we” or “us”, it means Sambandhah.
2. What we collect
We only collect what you choose to give us, plus a few technical details every website receives.
- Appointment and enquiry forms: your name and mobile / WhatsApp number (required); and, if you choose, your email, the area you would like help with, how you would like to attend sessions, whether you would prefer a female or male counselor, and a short message.
- Call-back form: your name and mobile / WhatsApp number.
- Contact form: your name, number, the topic and, if you choose, your email and message.
- Technical details: with each form we keep your IP address and browser type, to block spam and misuse.
- WhatsApp, phone and email: if you contact us this way, we receive what you send us.
Please do not write anything in a form that you would rather say in person. You can share it with your counselor in a session.
3. How we use it
- To call you back, understand what kind of help you are looking for, and book your appointment.
- To suggest a counselor and way of attending that suits you.
- To reply to your questions and messages.
- To keep the website safe and working, and to understand which pages help visitors (in a form that does not identify you).
We do not send marketing messages, and we never use what you tell us for anything else.
4. Confidentiality of counseling
What you share with a counselor stays between you and Sambandhah. We do not tell family members, employers or anyone else that you contacted us or what you discussed, unless you ask us to.
As in all counseling, there are rare limits: if there is a serious risk to someone’s life or safety, or if the law or a court requires it. Where possible, we will talk with you first.
7. How long we keep it
We keep your details only as long as we need them to respond to you and provide counseling, and for any record we must keep by law. You can ask us to delete them sooner.
8. How we protect it
The website uses a secure (HTTPS) connection, form entries are stored on a password-protected system, and only the people who need your details to help you can see them. No system is perfectly secure, so if something ever goes wrong, we will tell you and act quickly.
9. Your rights
Under India’s Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, you can:
- ask what details we hold about you and how we use them;
- ask us to correct or update them;
- ask us to delete them, or withdraw your consent;
- nominate someone to act for you;
- raise a complaint with us, and if it is not resolved, with the Data Protection Board of India.
To do any of this, contact us using the details below. We may need to confirm it is you before we act.
10. Children
If you are under 18, please ask a parent or guardian to contact us for you. We arrange counseling for young people with their parent or guardian’s involvement.
11. Changes to this policy
If we change how we handle your details, we will update this page and the date at the top.
