Parenting is an art and a science, both. It needs lot of patience. The art of parenting needs to be updated with knowledge with the constant changing
circumstances. It is an ongoing process. Parenting starts from the pregnancy itself and continues till the child is able to handle his life in his own way. Parents create parents! From handling the child and making them confident individual, having their trust in the parents when they reach teenage, the couple should first of all be together.
Aim
Today’s children are tomorrow’s future, which is changing every second passing! The main aim of Parenting Counseling is to guide the parents to grow
their children in a way that they are able to tackle the changes happening around them and to build a strong bridge between the parents and the children.
Insights
This starts from the day when the couple takes a decision to become parents. Apart from physical relations, the couple should develop a mental strength of welcoming a new being in their relationship! Parenting doesn’t start only when the baby is arrived. Instead it starts when the couple thinks of conceiving the baby and continues till the baby is grown on his or her own feet. The family atmosphere also plays a crucial role apart from the closeness between the couple. Positive atmosphere leads to positive development of the child in the womb, as it is must for the mother to stay in such an atmosphere. Apart from taking the experts’ advice on the physical development of the child, advice from the experts on the well-being and harmonious relationship between the couple, goes a long way in laying the foundation of the child’s future, who is inside the womb.
The times have changed, and so have the ways of Parenting! Psychology says that the initial years of the child are very important as it lays the foundation for his/her life. It is often found that these years of the child are often ignored under the pretext that he/she is just a child and will improve when once he/she grows. But, the fact is otherwise. The habits and values, which are inculcated in the initial years, leave a great impact on the child’s life. When the child grows up gradually, challenges may vary in unexpected ways. The mode of parenting should be shifted accordingly and should be moulded in a way to suit the needs and challenges of parenting.
There is no denying the fact that experience always counts more! But there is a misconception about this in parenting where parents force their decisions on their children. This is very dangerous especially when children hit their puberty, as the views and the thought process can be different. Forcing their decisions at such an age gradually develops a line between the parents and the children, which goes on increasing with the passage of time. The parents should understand the thin line between forcing their decisions on something and guiding them on the same!

Individual Counseling
Each session ranges between 45 minutes to 1 hour. Individual sessions are customized for the parents considering the background, type of family, single/both earning parents, etc.
Group Counseling
Group sessions are also available, which consist of minimum 5 couples and maximum 12 couples. Group sessions are customized for the parents’ group considering their requirement.
Seminars
Seminars for 2-3 hours can also be arranged at the schools, colleges, hostels, societies, auditoriums, institutions and universities for the parents of five to eight years group and/or for parents of teenagers and/or for parents of college students.
Webinars
Webinars for 2-3 hours can also be arranged ‘online’ at the schools, colleges, hostels, societies, auditoriums, institutions and universities for the group of parents of five to eight years child and/or for parents of teenagers and/or for parents of college students.
Workshops
This will be of a duration of one day with breakfast, lunch included, with full of activities. This will be conducted for a minimum of 5 couples and maximum of 10 couples. The entire sessions of individual counselling will be covered in one day. This will be beneficial to those who cannot spend one hour each day for seven consecutive days.
Keynote Speaking
On invitation from any organization, institution or schools / colleges, the speaker from this institute shall attend and deliver the speech on the topic defined. The time duration will be as defined by the organizer.
Tele Counseling
This will be the same as individual counselling sessions. The session ranges from 45 minutes to 1 hour. The benefit of this counselling will be available to distant parents who can participate in the session from their hometown. The parents and the counselor will have a conference through video/audio call and conduct the sessions.
Guest Speach
The institute shall invite prominent guest speakers on certain occasions for sharing their knowledge, experience and observation to the audience. The programme will be designed as per the practice of the guest speaker.
Charges would be based on conveyance and accommodation, if required.
